TravelPledge Experiences
Round out your auction with vacations, golf rounds, culinary samplings and other fun experiences from TravelPledge partners!
Example
You include the "4-Nights at Five Diamond Grand Luxxe" experience in your auction, where you keep 60% of the winning bid. If the vacation sells for $2,500, you'll net a donation of $1,437.20.
Winning Bid | $2,500 | (winner automatically emailed their invoice) |
Stripe Fees | -$62.8 | (2.5% + $0.30 per transaction) |
TravelPledge Experience Fee | -$1,000 | (40% of winning bid) |
You Keep | $1,437.20 | (deposited to your bank account) |
Upon payment, TravelPledge Auctions automatically pays the vacation provider any amount due and sends the winning bidder their vacation certificate and redemption instructions.
What if the TravelPledge Experience doesn't sell?
You won't owe anything if the TravelPledge Experience doesn't sell or the winning bidder doesn't pay.
Other things to note
You'll see deposits within five business days of each winning bidder paying.
All fees are automatically withheld from the amount deposited into your organization's bank account after the event.
TravelPledge Auctions gives you the option to require bidders to enter their payment information prior to bidding. This covers your risk in case a winning bidder flakes out and doesn't pay. While there is no fee to require bidders to enter payment information prior to bidding, a 5% fee will apply if you choose to manually initiate a charge. This covers our risk of the winning bidder filing a chargeback.
