Donated Auction Items

Suppose you sell 20 donated auction items at your online auction, fetching $32,500 in winning bids. Then, your net raise will be $31,683.90.

We give winning bidders an option to tip us at checkout. That is our only potential for revenue on donated items you auction.

TravelPledge Experiences

Round out your auction with vacations, golf rounds, culinary samplings and other fun experiences from TravelPledge partners!

Example

You include the "4-Nights at Five Diamond Grand Luxxe" experience in your auction, where you keep 60% of the winning bid. If the vacation sells for $2,500, you'll net a donation of $1,437.20.

Upon payment, TravelPledge Auctions automatically pays the vacation provider any amount due and sends the winning bidder their vacation certificate and redemption instructions.

What if the TravelPledge Experience doesn't sell?

You won't owe anything if the TravelPledge Experience doesn't sell or the winning bidder doesn't pay.

Other things to note

  • You'll see deposits within five business days of each winning bidder paying.

  • All fees are automatically withheld from the amount deposited into your organization's bank account after the event.

  • TravelPledge Auctions gives you the option to require bidders to enter their payment information prior to bidding. This covers your risk in case a winning bidder flakes out and doesn't pay. While there is no fee to require bidders to enter payment information prior to bidding, a 5% fee will apply if you choose to manually initiate a charge. This covers our risk of the winning bidder filing a chargeback.
