Each experience has a starting bid (AKA "minimum bid" or "reserve") listed within the TravelPledge dashboard.
If you sell the experience at your auction, you will not be able to report a lower winning bid than the listed starting bid during checkout.
May we change the starting bid?
Starting bids may not be lowered. We set each minimum bid to respect the wishes of the experience provider that posted the certificate. If you would like to raise the starting bid, however, you are welcome to do so.
What about sponsored experiences?
We lower the starting bids on sponsored experiences since you keep 100% of the winning bid. The lower starting bid increases the likelihood you are able to sell the experience.
