Each certificate has "book by" date that is 6, 9, 12, or 18 months from the date of your event. The "book by" date is shown in the experience details on the TravelPledge admin dashboard, as well as on the promotional flyer and issued certificate.

The "book by" date refers to the deadline to contact the experience provider to book the experience, though travel may take place after the deadline.

Example: Suppose you sell a certificate at your December 12, 2020 event, and the certificate's "book by" date is December 12, 2021. The certificate holder has until December 12, 2021 to contact the experience provider listed on the certificate, and may schedule their travel to take place after December 12, 2021.

How far after the "book by" date may travel take place?

Unless otherwise noted, travel may take place after the "book by" date as far into the future as the provider is taking reservations. This will vary based on each provider's general booking policies available on their websites.

Some providers place additional restrictions on when travel may take place (e.g., "Travel must take place within 12 months of the certificate being issued"). This will be noted in the experience details, promotional flyer, and issued certificate.
