OneSpare and TravelPledge
OneSpare and TravelPledge are sister sites of Geronimo Solutions, LLC. OneSpare is used by golf courses, hotels, and other businesses (henceforth called "Provider" or "Providers"), while TravelPledge is used by nonprofits. For the purposes of these terms, OneSpare and TravelPledge are the same entity and my be used interchangeably.
Request Donation Link
OneSpare provides "Request Donation" links to Providers which they can add to their websites. Nonprofits request a donated item for their fundraiser via the Request Donation link, which redirects the nonprofit to TravelPledge to submit their information. OneSpare will donate $2 to charity for each eligible request, per the terms below.
Eligibility of Requests
Provider must register with OneSpare and enroll in the $2 donation promotion by emailing help@onespare.com Only donation requests submitted through a Provider’s unique, OneSpare-provided “Request Donation” link are eligible for the $2 donation. Requests must be submitted by a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, as determined solely by OneSpare.
Qualified Requests
A “Qualified Request” is a single, complete donation request that:
Is submitted by a legitimate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing;
Relates to a bona fide fundraising event;
Is not duplicative, automated, fraudulent, or submitted in bad faith; and
Complies with OneSpare’s platform rules and review criteria.
OneSpare reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a request qualifies.
Donation Amount and Beneficiary
For each Qualified Request, OneSpare will donate $2 USD to a charity selected by OneSpare. Donations are made by OneSpare directly to the charity; no funds are paid to the Provider or the requesting nonprofit.
Annual and Program Caps
OneSpare may impose limits on the promotion, including but not limited to:
A maximum number of Qualified Requests per Provider per month or year; and/or
An aggregate annual donation cap across all participating Providers
Once any applicable cap is reached, additional requests will not generate further donations.
Timing of Donations
Donations are aggregated and made periodically (e.g., monthly or quarterly) at OneSpare’s discretion. There is no guarantee of real-time or per-request donation timing.
No Incentive to Approve Requests
Donation eligibility is based solely on submission of a Qualified Request and is not contingent on whether the Provider approves, fulfills, or donates an auction item.
Anti-Abuse and Fair Use
OneSpare reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate participation for any Provider or nonprofit or other entity that engages in activity intended to artificially inflate request volume or otherwise exploit the promotion.
Modification or Termination
OneSpare may modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time, for any reason, including changes to the donation amount, caps, or eligible charities. Changes will apply prospectively.
No Charitable Deduction or Agency Relationship
Provider and nonprofits acknowledge that they are not donors to the charity and may not claim any charitable deduction related to donations made by OneSpare. Participation does not create an agency, partnership, or joint venture.
